Job summary

i9 Sports Corporation in Albuquerque is seeking a Weekend Soccer Official to shape the youth game and serve as mentor, coach, and role model for players, families, and spectators.

As a Part-Time Contractor, you will enforce the rules, promote sportsmanship, manage field setup, and keep time and score while guiding players through age-appropriate activities during weekend shifts in the Albuquerque & Rio Rancho area. Training is provided, and benefits include flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• Master communicative skills with players, coaches, and spectators.
• At least 2 years as a player, coach, or official in the sport.
• Ability to tackle challenges during practices and games independently.
• Prioritize player safety and respond decisively in any situation.
• Maintain a cheerful, encouraging attitude while engaging families.
• Weekend-evening availability for the full season (~7 weeks).
• Smartphone with internet access required; pass a criminal background check.

• Team Player: Support volunteer coaches by leading drills, answering questions, and fostering a collaborative coaching environment.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Sport Savvy: Possess at least 2 years of experience as a player, coach, or official in the specific sport.

• Tech-Ready: Possess a smartphone with internet access.
• Safety Commitment: Must successfully pass a National Criminal Background Check.
