Job summary

Join i9 Sports as a Weekend Basketball Official and make a slam-dunk impact on young athletes' lives. More than just calling fouls, you'll be a mentor, coach, and role model, creating a dynamic, fair, and fun environment where kids can develop their skills and love for the game.

This part-time contractor role offers weekend shifts in the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho area with flexible scheduling, friendly teams, and a focus on safety, sportsmanship, and creating memorable experiences for players

Qualifications

• Effective communication with players, coaches, and spectators.
• At least 2 years of experience as player/coach/official in the sport.
• Ability to work independently to address challenges.
• Prioritize player safety with decisive action and proactive awareness.
• Maintain a cheerful and encouraging attitude while building relationships with players, coaches, and families.
• Ability to work weekends and evenings for the full season (~7 weeks).
• Own a smartphone with internet access.
• Must pass a National Criminal Background Check.
