i9 Sports Corporation is seeking a Weekend Basketball Official to mentor and coach young athletes while enforcing league rules. You will help create a dynamic, fair, and fun environment where kids develop their basketball skills and love for the game.

The role requires weekend and evening availability for the season, with a starting pay rate of $12.00 per hour. This is a part-time contractor position based in the Albuquerque area.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a player, coach, or official in the sport.
• Ability to pass a National Criminal Background Check.
• Ability to work a varied schedule including weekends and evenings for the season.

Responsibilities

• Enforce rules to create a fun, safe, and educational experience for players.
• Teach core concepts with emphasis on sportsmanship and fair play.
• Set up and break down practice and game equipment efficiently.
• Keep accurate time and score, adjusting based on players' age group.
• Provide excellent customer service to players, families, and colleagues.
• Support volunteer coaches by leading drills and fostering collaboration.
