Job summary

The Wood Group Behavioral Health Services in Seguin, TX is seeking a Weekend Behavioral Health Technician to support our youth mental health facility. This part-time role covers Saturdays and Sundays from 10am to 10pm, offering a meaningful chance to contribute to a compassionate, structured care environment.

You will work with our clinical team to monitor youth safety, document daily notes, and maintain a respectful, crisis-sensitive setting while upholding facility policies and confidentiality.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Must be 21 years of age or older.
• Experience in youth or mental health settings is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and supervise youth in a crisis setting to ensure safety and well-being.
• Cook and serve meals following the facility menu.
• Complete items listed on the facility Chore Sheet as directed by the administrator.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect.
• Daily chart documentation
• Maintain a safe, clean and structured environment
• Follow facility policies, procedures, and confidentiality standards at all times.
• Be familiar with The Wood Group’s policy and procedures, including the employee handbook.
