Job summary

URBAN Outffiters is urgently hiring for a weekend shift yard jockey. Saturday and Sunday 7:00AM - 2:30 PM with potential fill-in opportunities. The role involves moving trailers, docking operations, and maintaining equipment in a fast-paced yard environment.

Qualified candidates will have a Class A CDL, a DOT physical, and at least 1 year of yard tractor-trailer experience. Expect safety-focused duties and cross-functional collaboration across departments.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must have a valid Class A CDL.
• Must have a current DOT physical.
• Must have an acceptable driving record.
• Minimum 1 year of tractor-trailer yard experience.
• Must be able to work overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Move empty trailers to shipping doors, set loaded trailers to doors, and remove trailers as directed by management.
• Safely maneuver a tractor-trailer in a compact yard area.
• Conduct daily trailer inspections and keep yard orderly.
• Transport trailers between facilities across the street.
• Maintain and inspect the tractor and trailer, and keep equipment clean.
• Assist with warehouse tasks including forklift operation.
