Qualifications

• Active LPN or RN license in MO
• Some wound care experience preferred
• Certification preferred but not required
• Minimum Experience: 1–3 months related experience and/or training

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care per policies and Missouri state requirements
• Complete wound treatments for residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Implement and monitor patient care plans; monitor, record, and communicate resident condition
• Note and carry out physician and nursing orders
• Coordinate with wound care providers and oversee nursing staff wound treatments
• Provide resident-specific education to CNAs and nurses for wound care and prevention
• Duties include medication administration, documentation, overseeing residents' care, and scheduling for residents
