Kermit Lynch Wine Merchant in Marin County Mart, Larkspur, CA, seeks a part-time Sales Associate for a consistent Fri–Sun schedule from 10 AM to 6 PM. The role focuses on helping customers select wines, maintaining the sales floor, and supporting day-to-day shop operations.

The ideal candidate has wine sales and customer service experience, strong communication, and a willingness to learn the portfolio. Compensation ranges from $32 to $36 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Wine sales and customer service experience
• Foundational knowledge of wine regions (France/Italy) preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Able to use POS and office software for daily tasks

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers to provide wine recommendations and information.
• Deliver an outstanding shopping experience with personalized service.
• Drive retail sales by communicating the Kermit Lynch wine portfolio.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and contribute to store performance.
• Restock shelves and keep the sales floor organized and inviting.
• Assist with opening/closing procedures, cash handling, and POS operations.
• Collaborate with managers and team members to maintain a positive environment.
• Participate in training to expand knowledge of portfolio and sales strategies.
• Handle deliveries, stock movement, and other inventory tasks.
