Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center is seeking a Weekend Warrior Nurse (RN/LPN) for PRN shifts in Rhode Island. RN pay is $55/hr and LPN pay is $50/hr, with duties focused on skilled nursing and resident comfort.

This role emphasizes compassionate care, accurate documentation, and adherence to plans of care in a sub-acute setting. Join a dedicated team responsible for monitoring residents, administering medications, and collaborating with clinical staff to maintain high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered RI RN or LPN license.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per the plan of treatment and care plans.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments as prescribed.
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes promptly.
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation per orders and policies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control and safety standards are met.

Join our team at Holiday Rehabilitation & Healthcare Centeras a Weekend Warrior Nurse (RN/LPN)!

PRN opportunity available

Work 5 weekends in a row (Saturday & Sunday) and get the 6th off!

RN Pay: $55 an hour

LPN Pay: $50 an hour

Responsibilities for Nurse (RN/LPN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.

• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.

• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).

• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.

• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Nurse (RN/LPN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN/LPN in the state of Rhode Island.

• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.

• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
