Job summary

The Greens at Spruce Pine in Spruce Pine, NC is seeking a Weekend Warrior CNA to join our skilled nursing and rehabilitation team. Earn an extra $3.00 per hour on weekend shifts, with 8-hour and 12-hour options and a weekend-focused schedule.

Qualifications

• Current NC CNA I certification required and active on NC Registry.
• Weekend shifts required, with Saturday/Sunday availability preferred.
• Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on CNA care promoting dignity and independence.
• Assist with ADLs such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and hygiene.
• Monitor vital signs and document care as directed.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Report changes in resident conditions to the nursing team promptly.
• Offer emotional support, companionship, and encouragement.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning with safety.
• Collaborate with nurses and the care team for resident-centered care.
• Follow infection prevention practices and facility policies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, welcoming environment.
