Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our distribution team. The role involves crating, pulling products, unloading trucks, and preparing crates for shipment by flatbeds. You will ensure orders are accurate and cartons are secure for sale.

No prior experience required; mechanical aptitude is helpful. The job requires lifting up to 86 lbs repeatedly and working in a warehouse environment with safety protocols in place.

Qualifications

• No experience required; mechanical aptitude helpful.
• Basic knowledge of shipping process helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assists in the warehouse by crating, pulling product, and unloading trucks.
• Loads loose cartons into trucks to ensure stability during shipment.
• Collect wood product for the set-up and construction of crates.
• Build crates from wooden materials around cartons of product in preparation for shipment by flatbeds.
• Repair or reseal damaged cartons, or rebox product when necessary.
• Consolidate all accessory and siding products on storage racks when needed.
• Perform daily preventive maintenance and safety checks on motorized equipment.
• Perform warehouse maintenance and housekeeping.
• Attend scheduled staff meetings with the Distribution Supervisor, if necessary.
• Maintain an accurate time card daily and calculate on a weekly basis.
• Active participation in all plant safety programs.
