A dynamic animal hospital is seeking a compassionate weekend Veterinarian Technician for swing and overnight shifts. The role involves assisting the veterinarian with surgeries, coordinating animal care, and ensuring the health of pet patients. Ideal candidates should have at least one year of veterinary technician experience, especially in emergency care, with skills in anesthesia and patient monitoring.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience as a Veterinary Technician, preferably in Emergency care.
• Must be able to place IV catheters and draw blood.
• Dependable and must work well with others.

Responsibilities

• Triage pets as they arrive at the clinic.
• Assist with surgeries and monitor animals after surgery.
• Interview pet owners to obtain a patient history.
