Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital – Vascular Lab is seeking a part-time ultrasound technologist for a weekend program in Park Ridge, IL. Shifts are Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 AM to 7:00 PM, with a total of 20 hours per week.

The role involves performing comprehensive non-invasive ultrasound exams (abdomen, OB/GYN, vascular and small parts), documenting patient history, and communicating results to physicians.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA approved School of Ultrasound and able to work with diverse age groups.
• Registered or Registry Eligible as per department standards.

Responsibilities

• Perform a comprehensive array of non-invasive ultrasound procedures and provide high-quality images.
• Document patient history and communicate wet reads to physicians.
• Maintain a safe environment and proper infection control practices.
• Provide support for scheduling and department operations.
