Job summary

Doyle Security Services, Inc. is seeking a Security Officer to observe and report activities at an assigned client site, protect property and personnel, and maintain safety. The job requires standing for most of the day and weekend availability.

Shifts include Saturday-Sunday 1500-2300 and Friday-Saturday 2300-0700. An NYS Security Guard License is required, along with strong customer service and de-escalation skills. Medical, vision, dental, and other benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Valid NYS Security Guard License.
• Must be available to work weekends.
• Must have exceptional Customer Service Skills.
• Must be able to verbally de-escalate situations.
• Reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Reporting irregularities and informing violators of policy and procedures.
• Securing premises and personnel by patrolling property and monitoring surveillance equipment.
• Completes reports recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities; interviewing witnesses; obtaining signatures.
• Tasks assigned by supervisor or manager.
