Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer – Experienced Patrol Driver in Mobile, AL. In this role you will provide visitor support, deter security threats, and respond to incidents while maintaining a visible presence across assigned sites, including a government retirement services location.

The position requires a valid driver’s license and a background check. Schedule includes weekend shifts (Sat 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM; Sun 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM) with pay at $18.03 per hour.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years in security-related roles.
• Good customer service and communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license is required and background checks will be conducted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees and the public while following site policies and security procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and per site procedures.
• Conduct regular unaffiliated patrols of buildings, parking areas and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization and maintain logs of incidents.
• Report maintenance needs or policy violations to site leadership.
