Job summary

Allied Universal in Piedmont, SC is seeking a part-time Security Officer (Unarmed) for weekend shifts. You will patrol sites, monitor access, and provide customer service while maintaining safety and security protocols.

This role offers flexible weekend schedules, on-site work, and opportunities to learn our security technology and reporting procedures. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma and reliable work ethic. Badge access and alarm experience are valued.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors while following site procedures and emergency protocols.
• Conduct regular patrols of chemical manufacturing areas, building interiors, parking areas, access points, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access to the location by checking credentials and documenting entry and unauthorized access attempts.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and follow emergency protocols.
• Prepare clear activity and shift reports and communicate information to leadership.
