Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring a part-time, unarmed Security Officer in Greenville, SC. You will patrol a distribution facility, monitor access points, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a visible security presence.

Responsibilities include responding to incidents, documenting activity, and coordinating with site leadership. A high school diploma and background check are required, with some guards card/badge experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum Requirements: A valid driver's license; comfortable using a computer or tablet; badge experience preferred; guardian/guard card preferred; 18+ for unarmed roles; high school diploma or equivalent; background check as required by law; drug screen per policy; licensing as required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and associates by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, loading docks, parking areas and access points to deter unauthorized access.
• Monitor access by verifying credentials, directing visitors and deliveries, and documenting entry/exit activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies calmly and coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Prepare clear activity reports, incident documents, and shift logs for leadership and site staff.
