Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer for Weekend Coverage in Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on unarmed patrols, customer service to tenants and visitors, and maintaining a visible security presence on a commercial real estate site.

Expect a full-time schedule with night shifts and weekends. Compensation is $19.00 per hour, plus benefits. Candidates should have at least 1 year security experience, a valid driver's license, and be 18+ years old with high school diploma.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background investigation will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• A drug screen will be conducted as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and clients by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the property to identify issues and report concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, maintain logs and incident reports, and communicate with site management.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies following site procedures and contacting emergency services when needed.
