Job summary

TriStar Hendersonville Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform imaging procedures ordered by physicians, delivering quality patient care in a diagnostic setting. Responsibilities include day-to-day operations, performing surgical and portable exams, documenting in Meditech and PACS, and adhering to quality controls.

Candidates should have graduated from a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program; ARRT/ARDMS certification within 6 months; BLS; and prefer 1 year of related

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS/ARRT certification within 6 months of start date.
• BLS certification required.
• 1 year of related imaging experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Maintain day-to-day activities to ensure quality patient care.
• Demonstrate ability to perform surgery and portable exams.
• Follow physician orders, document the exam in Meditech, and verify images in PACS.
• Follow quality controls and HLd procedures for equipment and accessories.
• Document patient history and lab values when applicable.
