Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a part-time Security Officer for weekends in Savannah, GA. You will patrol facilities, monitor access, and respond to incidents to deter security risks. The role emphasizes reliability, customer service, and adherence to site policies at a chemical/petrochemical terminal location.

The position requires a TWIC, at least 18 years old, and a high school diploma. Training, background checks, and background screening are part of the process, with opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A TSA-issued TWIC is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state/local laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, and unauthorized access concerns.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of the facility and perimeter.
• Monitor and document access for vehicles, contractors, visitors, and employees.
• Observe and report hazardous conditions and policy violations to site contacts.
