Job summary

Weatherby Healthcare is seeking locum tenens coverage in Indiana for trauma surgery cases. The assignment requires inpatient rounding, weekend coverage (Thursday 7 pm to Monday 7 am, every or every other weekend), and call coverage. Expect about 8 patients per shift and roughly 3 phone consultations per day, with Epic EMR in use.

Paid malpractice insurance, pre-paid travel and housing expenses, and ongoing consultant support are provided as part of the assignment.

Qualifications

• Trauma surgery experience required.
• Chest tube and central line insertion required.
• EMR: Epic.

Responsibilities

• Inpatient rounding and call coverage required.
• Approximately 8 patients per shift; ~3 phone consults per 24 hours.
