Job summary

Ascentec Engineering is seeking a TIG Welder II/III to perform high purity aluminum welding for semiconductor components in a fast-paced on-site shop. Responsibilities include reading CAD prints, weld inspection, and equipment maintenance in a safe manufacturing environment.

Ideal candidates have 4–5 years aluminum welding experience, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to work with various metals. The role offers a competitive hourly wage with benefits and a structured weekend schedule.

Qualifications

• 4-5 years of Aluminum welding experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints.
• Proficient with calipers and micrometers.
• Experience welding with a variety of metals including stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum.

Responsibilities

• Weld according to CAD prints and weld notes.
• Inspect welds for accuracy and workmanship standards.
• Prepare parts by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping, and cutting.
• Change wire, maintain welding equipment, and ensure safety devices are in use.
• Package and move finished products to the correct location.
• Perform first piece and subsequent inspections as required.
