Zusammenfassung

Ascentec Engineering is seeking a TIG Welder II/III to join our on‑site team in Oregon. You will weld high-purity aluminum semiconductor parts, following CAD prints, and maintain safety and quality throughout quick-turn prototype and mid-volume production runs.

The role requires 4–5 years of aluminum welding experience, blueprint reading skills, and proficiency with calipers and micrometers. Strong teamwork and a commitment to accuracy are essential in our fast-paced shop environment.

Qualifikationen

• 4-5 years of Aluminum welding experience preferred
• Read and interpret blueprints
• Operate precision measuring devices (calipers, micrometers)
• Experience with stainless steel, titanium, aluminum is preferred
• Strong safety, quality, and teamwork mindset

Aufgaben

• Create quality welds according to CAD prints
• Inspect welds for accuracy and workmanship standards
• Prepare parts by grinding, drilling, milling, tapping and cutting metal pieces
• Maintain welding equipment and change wires as needed
• Package and move finished products to proper locations
• Ensure safe setup and operation of equipment and use of safety devices
• Perform first piece and subsequent inspections per standards
• Cross-train as back-up in other areas
