Job summary

Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division seeks a Weekend Test Engineering Technician in El Paso, TX. The role supports the Test Engineer in setup, operation, troubleshooting, and calibration of electrical test equipment used in Eaton products.

The position requires an Associate degree or technical certification and 1 year in manufacturing or testing. Bilingual English/Spanish is desired; travel/relocation not offered. Shift Fri-Sun, 6:00am–6:45pm, with a 36-hour workweek for pay.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or testing environment.
• No relocation; reside within 50 mile radius of El Paso facility; military candidates exempt from area restriction.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and operation of test equipment and systems.
• Perform routine maintenance and calibration of test equipment.
• Support troubleshooting of test failures and yield issues.
• Collect and record test data accurately for analysis.
• Follow test procedures and safety protocols.
• Maintain documentation including test logs and calibration records.
• Assist training for operators on basic test equipment usage.
• Collaborate with Test Engineer on improvements and updates.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.

Only candidates residing within the immediate area (50 mile radius) of the listed facility will be considered.
