Eaton’s El Paso, TX facility is seeking a Weekend Maintenance Technician to support manufacturing operations. You will commission new equipment, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot control systems, and keep maintenance logs to ensure equipment runs to specifications.

Requirements include a High School diploma and at least 4 years’ maintenance experience in manufacturing. English/Spanish bilingual is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

They ensure the equipment is running at optimal standards and in accordance with manufactures specifications.In this function you will:• Assist in commissioning new equipment and startup validation.• Responsible for preventive maintenance procedures.• Responsible for troubleshooting and analyzing complex control systems to resolve software and hardware problems.• Responsible for troubleshooting mechanical issues or equipment failures.• Responsible to participate in risk assessment events to reduce safety hazards in equipment.• Responsible to maintain maintenance logs and equipment documentation.• Responsible to communicate equipment status as required.• Monitor the compressed air systems within the production lines to ensure proper performance.• You will be responsible for managing relationships with facilities department and vendors such as electricians, plumbers, and other services required for facility projects.• Assist in maintaining an in-house wastewater, chemicals handling and spill program.• Assist in performing inventory stock levels and placing orders for required materials.• Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhere to all facility EHS guidelines, encourage communication, and participate with co-workers to further identify, reduce, and eliminate potential hazards.• You will perform other tasks as required.Qualifications:Required:• High School diploma or equivalent from an accredited institution.• Minimum 4 years of experience in maintenance in a manufacturing environment.• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
