GardaWorld Security Services in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to patrol diverse environments, read threats, and act decisively. The role emphasizes observation, risk anticipation, and proactive response.

Position is part-time (Sat/Sun, 2pm–10pm) with a competitive $22.15/hour wage, benefits including medical/dental/vision, 401(k) with company match, PTO, holidays, disability, life insurance, and uniform provided. Prior security or military experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Be authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Able to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• Have a state license if required
• Have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken
• Respond to alarms and conduct on-site checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
