Job summary

GardaWorld Security Services is seeking a Tactical Security Officer to join our Minneapolis team on the 2nd shift (4 p.m.–12 a.m.). This full-time position emphasizes keen observation, risk anticipation, and decisive action in dynamic environments.

Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S., have a HS diploma or GED, and pass a thorough screening. First aid is a plus; military or law enforcement experience is welcomed.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• High School Diploma or GED required
• Able to pass an extensive screening process
• First aid certification is an asset
• Able to stand and walk for the entire shift
• Military or Law Enforcement experience is a plus
• Security experience is required
• State license if required or willing to obtain

Responsibilities

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Check the proper functioning of alarms and cameras
• Document incidents and actions taken; respond to alarms and conduct checks
• Collaborate with law enforcement during serious incidents
• Ensure the safety and protection of individuals and property
