Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Certification for Surgical Technology with the NBSTSA is preferred.
• Competent in at least 3 specialty areas.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an additional Surgical Technologist in assigned ORs during procedures.
• Prepare and maintain sterile fields and pass instruments as needed.
• Coordinate and enter procedures into the scheduling system; verify details.
• Triage calls and communicate urgent issues to leadership and staff.
• Prepare case carts and manage supplies; support room turnover and flow.
