Job summary

IVI RMA North America in Wayne, PA is seeking a Surgical Center Registered Nurse for weekend coverage (Saturdays and Sundays, 6am-2:30pm). This outpatient center offers a collaborative environment and predictable scheduling while delivering high-quality patient care in reproductive medicine.

The RN will provide direct pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care, collaborate with physicians and staff, administer medications, and maintain documentation.

Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Current BLS certification; ACLS required.
• 2+ years of clinical nursing experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in nursing assessment and IV therapy.
• Surgical, procedural, PACU, IVF, women's health, ambulatory surgery, or related nursing experience preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Passion for providing compassionate, high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care throughout the surgical experience.
• Pre-operative and post-operative activities to coordinate movement of procedures.
• Pre-Operative assessment and documentation per policy.
• Assist in operative setup and case management; perform counts and transport.
• PACU hand-off with relevant history and procedure details.
• Assess, monitor, and educate patients before and after procedures.
• Administer medications per physician orders and protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for seamless care.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Support quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
• Create a welcoming patient experience during family-building journeys.
