Job summary

The technician will operate replenishment software, manage stock, and ensure accurate inventory, with emphasis on safety, policy compliance, and teamwork in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or completion of the UMMC Project Search program.
• Five years of work experience may substitute for the educational requirement.
• Preferred qualifications include stocking, loading, replenishing or distributing inventory in a hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Audits and manages replenishment system; resolves issues.
• Operates replenishment system software per policy.
• Sets up work area including scales, controllers, downloaders, probes, shelf registration, mobile cart and computers.
• Monitors stock for expiry and rotation; ensures proper stock handling in compliance with DN V requirements.
• Stocks and inventories supplies; delivers and verifies shipments to assigned destinations.
• Orders required supplies for assigned areas per department policies.
• Opens, picks, closes and distributes internal orders.
• Adheres to hospital standards, OSHA and departmental policies.
• Creates daily system tracking reports for changes.
• Fleet responsibilities and scheduling.
