Job summary

Hampden Post Acute is seeking an experienced RN Supervisor to lead nursing operations on weekends (7a-7p) in Massachusetts. This role provides clinical oversight, ensures quality and regulatory compliance, and supports a compassionate care culture for residents.

Qualified candidates hold a MA RN license, BLS CPR, and have at least 2 years of nursing experience. Training is provided; benefits include weekly pay options and a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current, unencumbered active RN license in MA.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple patients in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Minimum of 2+ years of nursing experience in a healthcare setting.
• No previous supervisory experience required; training will be provided.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with residents, families, and staff.
• Knowledge of nursing practices, laws, and standards in nursing care centers.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate nursing care activities to ensure residents receive safe, effective, and timely care.
• Provide clinical oversight and support to nursing staff during assigned shifts.
• Monitor resident conditions and ensure appropriate interventions are implemented and documented.
• Ensure compliance with physician orders, care plans, and facility policies and procedures.
• Communicate with physicians, interdisciplinary teams, residents, and families regarding changes in condition or care needs.
• Assist in managing multiple residents and prioritize care based on clinical urgency.
• Support adherence to nursing regulations, safety standards, and facility guidelines.
• Promote a positive work environment through teamwork and professional leadership.
