Job summary

Hampden Post Acute, supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services, is seeking an RN to join our care team in Massachusetts. This full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunity offers competitive pay and shift differentials, with daily pay options.

The RN will provide skilled nursing care, follow individualized care plans, administer medications, monitor residents, document accurately, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure safety, quality, and compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Active MA RN license required.
• BLS/CPR certification required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents in a fast-paced setting.
• Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide resident care per standards and the physician’s plan.
• Follow care plans developed by Nurse Manager.
• Administer medications and treatments per plan of care.
• Monitor residents and report changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Ensure infection control and safety compliance.

Guided by our core values of Passion, Respect, and Excellence, the Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for delivering skilled clinical care, monitoring resident conditions, and ensuring all care is provided in accordance with established standards and individualized care plans.

Responsibilities for Registered Nurse (RN):

• Provide resident care in accordance with acceptable standards of nursing practice and the physician’s plan of treatment, as well as the written plan of care.
• Follow and implement care plans developed by the Nurse Manager.
• Perform medication administration and treatments in accordance with the plan of care (POC).
• Monitor and assess residents’ conditions, promptly reporting changes to appropriate clinical team members.
• Maintain accurate, timely, and complete documentation in accordance with physician orders, facility policies, and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and high-quality resident care.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and nursing regulations.

Qualifications for Registered Nurse (RN):

• A current, unencumbered active license to practice as an RN in the state of MA.
• Valid BLS Certification (CPR) required.
• Ability to manage care for multiple residents simultaneously in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and documentation skills.
