Job summary

Dimock Center is seeking a weekend Social Service Worker / Counselor to provide clinical services and group sessions at Askia facility, focusing on substance use treatment with co-occurring diagnoses. The role emphasizes patient-centered, evidence-based care within a multidisciplinary team.

Required a Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; licensure is preferred but not required. Experience in SUD settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work or closely related field required.
• One year experience in substance use disorder treatment setting preferred but not required.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide brief supportive therapy and facilitate psychoeducational groups on weekends.
• Collaborate with case manager to execute referrals and linkages to appropriate care levels.
• Provide crisis prevention, intervention and risk assessments; document biopsychosocial assessments and treatment plans.
