Services may be delivered via telehealth platforms to reach clients off-site. The role focuses on assessment, treatment planning, individual and group counseling, and crisis intervention, using EBPs such as CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma-Informed approaches.

Qualifikationen

• CASAC and 1 year experience with populations who have substance use/co-occurring disorders.
• CASAC-T with 2-3 years experience with populations who have substance use/co-occurring disorders.
• HS Diploma and 6 years experience with populations who have substance use/co-occurring disorders.
• Must have basic computer skills.
• Must pass criminal background check and clearance from OCFS and be drug free.

Aufgaben

• Provide individual counseling based on treatment plans and client needs.
• Conduct group counseling sessions.
• Utilize EBPs including CBT, MI, Matrix Model, and Trauma-Focused CBT.
• Collect and analyze assessment data for substance use, mental health and co-occurring disorders.
• Develop initial and comprehensive treatment plans with measurable objectives.
• Conduct discharge planning and crisis intervention as needed.
• Coordinate with courts, parole, probation, and other agencies as needed.
