Job summary

Black Label Services Inc is seeking an experienced welder for a weekend position in Fort Collins, CO. You will read specs, lay out parts, set up welding equipment, and weld to exact specifications under safety and quality standards.

The role requires passing 3G FCAW and 3G GMAW tests, HS diploma or equivalent, and a welding certificate is a plus. Expect physical labor in a fast-paced shop with cranes and forklifts, plus a sign-on bonus and shift differential discussed at offer.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret specifications and blueprints to determine welding requirements.
• Must be able to read production drawings and ensure welds meet exact specifications.
• Ability to pass welding tests and demonstrate proper PPE use.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret specifications & blueprints.
• Lay out, fit, or connect parts to be welded, calculating production measurements.
• Set up & operate welding machines to fabricate metal products or assemblies.
• Troubleshoot welding equipment problems.
• Assemble and clamp workpieces into fixtures for welding.
• Inspect, measure, or test completed metal workpieces for conformance.
• Work with overhead cranes and forklifts.
• Perform other shop duties such as cutting, assembly or kitting.
• Ensure safety, quality, production processes are followed; maintain PPE usage.
• Maintain cleaning and maintenance schedules for a safe, efficient environment.
• Cross-train and assist in other shop functions as needed.
