Job summary

85°C Bakery Cafe is seeking a storefront associate to deliver friendly, fast, and memorable customer service while greeting guests and assisting with product selection. You will operate the POS system, prepare coffee beverages, and support bread merchandising to maintain an inviting store environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail, restaurant, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Positive attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Ability to speak and understand conversational English.
• Availability to work at least 20 hours per week.
• Weekend and holiday availability is strongly preferred.
• ServSafe Food Handler Certification (where required).

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly, fast, and memorable customer service.
• Greeting guests and assisting with product selection.
• Operating the POS system accurately.
• Preparing coffee, tea, and specialty beverages.
• Assisting with bread merchandising and product presentation.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and food-safe work environment.
• Collaborating with teammates and store leadership.
• Following all company policies and Health Department regulations.
• Cross-training in multiple areas, including: Cashier (POS); Bar; Bread; Cake.
• Arriving on time and ready to work each scheduled shift.
• Having fun while delivering an exceptional guest experience!
