Job summary

Covenant Village Care Center is seeking a Weekend STNA to provide direct resident care during weekend shifts in a long-term care setting. You will assist with ADLs, monitor residents’ conditions, and document findings in the electronic health record while collaborating with licensed nursing staff.

The role emphasizes safety, compassion, and teamwork, with opportunities to engage residents in weekend activities and support care planning.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with mobility and transfers, positioning, ambulation, and use of assistive devices.
• Monitor resident conditions and report changes to supervising nurse.
• Measure and record vital signs (temp, pulse, BP, respiration) and track intake/output.
• Maintain accurate documentation in the EHR system and communicate updates during shift reports.
• Ensure resident rooms and common areas are clean and safe; follow infection control protocols.
• Provide companionship and support during weekend activities and engage residents in events.
• Collaborate with RNs, LPNs, and other STNAs on care plans, admissions, discharges, and transfers.
