Job summary

Klute, Inc. is seeking a Weekend Material Handler / Stager to support production in our steel fabrication shop. You will stage parts, move materials, and help maintain material flow, ensuring welders and machine operators have what they need when they need it.

The role is weekend-only, with a 6 AM - 6:30 PM schedule on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, totaling 40 hours per week including a differential. This hands-on position offers growth in a steel fabrication environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in an industrial environment.
• Safety-focused and reliable team member.
• Willingness to learn and operate shop equipment.

Responsibilities

• Stage steel parts for welders using project blueprints.
• Move, sort, and organize materials throughout the shop.
• Stack and store steel plate safely and efficiently.
• Chamfer, countersink, and clean holes using a drill press and hand tools.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move material.
• Communicate with welders, machine operators, and production leadership.
• Support inventory organization and material priorities.
