Job summary

Klute Inc. is seeking a Material Handler/Stager to keep production moving by ensuring the right materials are in the right place at the right time. You’ll stage, move, and store steel parts, and assist production teams in a hands-on, safety-minded environment.

Join a growing team with opportunities for advancement and a daytime schedule. Training for forklift and crane operation is provided as needed, and you’ll be part of a collaborative, quality-focused shop culture.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable with a safety-focused approach.
• Comfortable in a manufacturing setting and around equipment.
• Willing to learn forklift/overhead crane operations (training provided).

Responsibilities

• Stage steel parts for welders using project blueprints.
• Move, sort, and organize materials throughout the shop.
• Stack and store steel safely and efficiently.
• Prepare steel parts using a drill press and hand tools.
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to transport materials (training provided).
• Collaborate with welders, machine operators, and production leaders to keep projects moving.
• Help maintain organized inventory and support production priorities.

As a Material Handler / Stager, you'll play a critical role in keeping production moving. Your work ensures our welders and machine operators have the right materials, in the right place, at the right time. What You'll Do

• Stage steel parts for welders using project blueprints
• Move, sort, and organize materials throughout the shop
• Stack and store steel safely and efficiently
• Prepare steel parts using a drill press and hand tools
• Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to transport materials (training provided)
• Work closely with welders, machine operators, and production leaders to keep projects moving
• Help maintain organized inventory and support production priorities

What We're Looking For

• Dependable, safety-minded team player
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment
• Comfortable working around equipment and moving materials
• Forklift and overhead crane experience is a plus, but we're happy to train the right candidate
