Job summary

The Cleveland Guardians are hiring for a weekend-only role at Progressive Field. You will welcome fans, verify tickets, guide guests, and help manage crowd movement to ensure a smooth experience.

This position requires weekend availability, strong customer service focus, and the ability to work long shifts in a busy stadium. Expect to work 40 of 81 home games from April to October, with some night or day game starts and post-game activities.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to exceed customer expectations and create premium experiences.
• Capability to walk, stand, and climb during shifts of 4-8 hours while staying motivated, with occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, trustworthy and dependable.
• Basic computer skills for operational tasks (Internet Explorer, ABI and UKG).
• Joining the union is a requirement for this position.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests, address questions, and resolve complaints with a proactive demeanor.
• Check and scan tickets at entry points, apply wristbands for private areas as needed.
• Stay mobile to monitor crowd movement, restrooms, and safety.
• Maintain enthusiasm while standing for long periods at your post.
• Participate in post-game activities and report any unusual occurrences promptly.
• Monitor alcohol consumption with security and report medical or maintenance needs.
• Monitor all public areas to maintain cleanliness, order, and safety and report findings.
