Job summary

Staffmark Group in Temple, TX is hiring a Shipping and Receiving Clerk to help move goods efficiently. You will verify shipments, prepare outbound orders, and maintain organized warehouse operations.

The role requires attention to detail, safety awareness, and the ability to operate warehouse equipment. Prior experience in shipping/receiving is preferred, with weekend shift availability and a pay rate of $24.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; additional warehouse training beneficial.
• 1+ years of shipping/receiving or warehouse experience.
• Ability to accurately complete shipping/receiving documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Verify and record incoming shipments against purchase orders, invoices, or manifests for accuracy in quantity, quality, and condition.
• Prepare and process outgoing shipments, including packing, labeling, creating bills of lading, and coordinating with carriers.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS).
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and resolve issues with suppliers or internal teams.
• Perform cycle counts, data entry, and generate shipping/receiving reports as needed.
• Load and unload trucks safely (forklift experience preferred).
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards (OSHA), and quality procedures.
• Keep the work area clean and organized through 5S practices.
• Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
