Job summary

Ameritex Machine and Fabrication, located in Conroe, TX, is seeking qualified welders who can MIG and TIG weld Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel. You must read and red-line drawings, fit parts, and work well in a friendly team environment.

We provide internal manufacturing training on state-of-the-art equipment. The role offers a weekend shift (Friday–Sunday) with 12-hour shifts and a 4-hour differential to reach 40 hours weekly.

Qualifications

Ameritex Machine and Fabrication is a high mix, quick turn, and ISO 9001 2015 certified sheet metal and structural fabrication facility that uses a variety of equipment such as CNC Fiber Lasers, CNC punch presses, CNC press brakes, and tube lasers to support multiple assembly lines. As a rapid parts manufacturer, our company serves customers in energy, power , oil and gas, automotive, electric vehicle, and aerospace. We operate out of a state of the art 100,000 sqft facility in Conroe, Texas.

Position Overview:

We are seeking qualified welders who can weld Aluminum, Stainless Steel, and Carbon Steel -- MiG, and TIG, to join our innovative, fast-growing company. The candidates are required to be able to read drawings, know how to red-line drawings, and fit properly. They will be working in a friendly team environment in which they are expected to communicate clearly.

The weekend shift schedule is Friday - Sunday, working12-hour shifts. As long as you work the minimum required 36 hours, the company will provide a 4 hour differential each week to ensure the 40 hour mark is met.

Qualifications:

Physical Demands/Environmental Conditions:

• The physical ability to lift and carry at least 50-100 lb. net bags, boxes and/or pallets for short distances
• The physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Must be able to pass all Drug & Alcohol Screening
• Limited exposure to fumes, dirt, noise, and hazardous chemicals daily. May require safety equipment and/or precautions.

Compensation is based on welder qualification level 1, 2 or 3.
