PacSci EMC is seeking a Mechanical Assembler in Hollister, CA to support inert and energetic material assembly. You will follow diagrams and instructions, perform precision weighing and pressing, and assemble sub-assemblies with attention to safety in explosive areas.

The position requires English proficiency, on-the-job training, and overtime may be required. Benefits include a company-wide commitment to safety and quality.

Competenze

• Must understand and speak English, and read and write in English.
• Proficient dexterity to handle explosive devices safely.
• Basic soldering experience preferred.

Mansioni

• Work under direct supervision.
• Weigh and press inert & energetic materials.
• Set up and use analytical balance.
• Perform inert assembly operations.
• Minor cabling, potting, tinning and assembly work.
• Set up and use powder press for pressing operation.
• Some basic setup capability for specific equipment.
• May have some basic soldering experience.
• Performs various production assembly operations on components and subassemblies.
• Uses drawings and instructions to assemble, modify or rework units.
• Install sub-assemblies.
