Job summary

Central Moloney in Panama City, FL is seeking a Coil Winding Technician for the weekend shift (Fri-Sun, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM). This role involves operating coil winding machines, following blueprints, and building precise transformer coils to power homes and industries.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Ability to read job instructions and perform basic math.
  • Experience in manufacturing or machine operation preferred.
  • Able to lift 50 lbs and use manual/powered hand tools.
  • Hoist/crane experience and forklift certification are a plus.
  • Pass background check, drug screen, and physical exam.

Coil Winding Technician - Weekend Shift

Location: Panama City, FL

Shift: Friday-Sunday, 6:00 AM - 6:30 PM (with overtime as needed)

Reports To: Production Supervisor

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Compensation: $22 per hour

What You'll Do

Working Conditions & Requirements

  • Lifting:Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
  • Environment:Work in a facility with loud noise, extreme temperatures, and environmental stressors.
  • Physical Activities:Sit, stand, walk, bend, climb, crouch, reach, and grasp as needed.
  • PPE:Wear required PPE, including eye and hearing protection, gloves, and safety toe footwear.
  • Dexterity and Vision:Manual dexterity and specific vision abilities (close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and focus adjustment).
  • Stamina:Stand for long shifts.
  • Skills:Effective communication, basic math skills, and teamwork.
  • Safety:Adhere to safety protocols and address hazards.
