Production Machine Operator
Sets up and operates a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
- Perform tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot, and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
- Inspect parts to specifications and make adjustments or tool changes as necessary to maintain quality standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and diagrams to select, position, and secure machinery.
- Adjust machine settings to complete tasks accurately and efficiently, according to specifications.
- Suggest improvements related to assigned work to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following Hubbell’s 6S policy.
- Follow written and verbal instructions from supervisors and lead personnel.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assist management in maintaining supply inventory.
- Inspect own work for conformity to standards.
- Assist in other areas as needed.
- Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
- Wear all required PPE for the specific work area.
