Job summary

ID Logistics is seeking a Wave Planner to ensure all materials and packaging needs are met for the shift, coordinating with admin staff and supervisors. You will prepare lines for the oncoming shift, maintain production documentation, and support start-ups of new items while upholding 5S practices.

The role requires forklift certification, strong communication, and GMP knowledge, with responsibilities spanning training, shift coding, and ensuring timely material transfers between shifts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to follow GMP and safety procedures in a warehouse setting.
• Proven forklift operation experience and ability to train others.

Responsibilities

• Review production schedule and manage changes to daily activity.
• Provide assignments and training for lift operators and line leads at shift start.
• Assemble and distribute production documentation for the oncoming shift.
• Support start-up of new items with team leads and supervisors.
• Initiate and generate shift codes in the system.
• Generate pallet labels as needed.
• Train new line leads and forklift operators.
• Communicate previous shift’s returns to supervision via email and meetings.
• Provide additional shift supervisor support when issues arise.
• Record Line Lead training and qualification documentation; back-up training as needed.
• Ensure 5S practices are followed; monitor safety inspections and tools.
• Coordinate packaging and material assignments for the oncoming shift.
• Oversee returns of products and packaging for the shift.
• Maintain equipment readiness and radio inventory; manage tools.
• Address performance concerns and follow up with Staffing Supervisor.
