At Home Helpers of Greater Milwaukee is seeking loving, compassionate Caregivers to provide essential in-home support and companionship for seniors, including those with dementia or recovering from illness. The role offers full-time or part-time shifts with schedule flexibility.

You will help with medications, mobility, personal care, meals, light housekeeping, and transportation as needed, while delivering empathetic, patient-centered care in clients' homes.

• Empathy and compassionate care oriented toward seniors and those with dementia.
• Ability to follow a care plan and document care tasks.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to lift up to 35 pounds and assist with mobility.

Mansioni

• Help clients take prescribed medication.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility in and outside the home.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support with physical therapy exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Run errands or accompany clients to appointments or shopping.
• Perform light housekeeping and maintain a safe environment.

This position is available for full-time or part-time shifts where you get to build your own schedules!

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks, etc.)
• Assist clients with personal care and hygiene
• Help clients with physical therapy exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the clients (when they are able)
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop
• Perform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency
