Job summary

Susquehanna Health and Wellness Center in Columbia, PA is seeking an Activities Assistant to engage residents through therapeutic recreation and events. The role requires creativity, outgoing personality, and a passion for seniors.

Availability is Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, 9:00 am–5:00 pm, with every other weekend required. You will support the Activity Director in planning programs, document activities, and help maintain supplies.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Ability to relate professionally and positively to residents and families and work cooperatively with others.
• An enthusiastic, resident-focused individual who enjoys meeting recreation program needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in developing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing comprehensive therapeutic recreation services and programs.
• Complete required documentation, assist with planning and leadership of special events, and maintain activity supplies.
