Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is now hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for a high-volume distribution and warehouse facility in Texas. You will perform device checks, monitor access, and patrol to deter theft while delivering professional customer service and safety oversight.

The ideal candidate holds a Texas Non-Commissioned Security License and can work Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:00 PM. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour, with benefits including medical and dental insurance and paid time off.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Texas non-commissioned security license required.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen.
• Commit to the posted schedule: Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Device Check: Scan tags on approved employee devices and verify IMEI against paperwork.
• North Dock: Monitor trash dump, open/close dock doors, track outbound trucks, count pallets.
• South Dock: Count inbound pallets, monitor doors, coordinate communications, update records.
• Metal Detector: Manage X-ray screenings and ensure only approved items enter the building.
• Rover: Patrol area to deter theft attempts and maintain safety.
• Tracker: Monitor high-value loads via computer software.

Monday thru Friday 2:00pm - 10:00pm

Texas Non-Commissioned Security License is Required

The ideal candidate will have previous experience in security AND customer service fields.

Join our team at a high-volume distribution and warehouse facility as an Unarmed Security Officer , where you'll play a critical role in protecting people, property, and high-value products. You will be responsible for device checks, dock monitoring, metal detector and X-ray screening, rover patrols, and tracking high-value loads.

The site is a secure, high-volume facility and will require the highest level of professionalism, attention to detail, reliability, and high-quality candidates with excellent work ethics.

About This Schedule

Shift: 2nd Shift

Work Days: Mon-Fri

Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Days Off: Sat, Sun

Hours per Week: 40

Employment Type: Full-Time

Starting Pay: $17.50 / hour

Responsibilities

• Device Check: Scanning tag on the back of approved employee devices. Reading persons IMEI on phone making sure it matches the sticker or paperwork provided for the approved device.
• North Dock: Monitoring trash dump for theft attempts, opening and closing dock doors, tracking outbound trucks, counting pallets for inbound trucks, monitoring open dock doors as they are being loaded. Monitoring special projects during peak season.
• South Dock: Counting pallets for inbound trucks, monitoring special projects during peak season, sending and receiving emails, typing truck information, and monitoring open dock doors. Open and close dock doors.
• Metal Detector: Checking devices in and out; only approved devices with a sticker or approved paperwork are allowed. Making sure visitors clear through the x-ray. Watching the X-Ray machine, making sure everyone clears through the X-Ray. Making sure no prohibited items enter the building.
• Rover: Will be walking throughout the area to assist in deterring theft attempts.
• Tracker: Keeps track of all high value loads via computer software.

Required Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Non-commissioned security license through the state of Texas required!
• Strong customer service skills
• Familiarity with report writing
• Monitoring and surveillance experience
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks
• Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen
• Able to commit to the posted schedule: Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM

Preferred Qualifications

• Bi-lingual considered a plus.
