Securitas, Inc. is seeking a part-time Security Officer at our Lexington site in Lexington, NE. The role involves patrolling, monitoring systems, controlling access, and responding to emergencies to keep people and property safe.

Expected duties include conflict resolution, de-escalation, observation, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to safety policies and procedures. Schedule runs Saturdays and Sundays, 7am–7pm with typical benefits and pay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer / technology skills needed.
• Prior Security, Law Enforcement or Military experience a plus.
• Must be able to work independently and provide excellent customer service.
• Must have the ability to remain calm under pressure and vigilant throughout shift.
• Must be able to respond to emergencies with rapid / effective judgement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a secure environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
• Respond effectively to emergencies and security incidents to minimize risk.
• Uphold company policies, safety regulations, and legality standards.
• Protect sensitive information and intellectual property from unauthorized access.
• Conduct access control at security entrances / exits.
• Perform regular patrols of premises including buildings and parking areas.
