Dunbar Security Solutions is seeking a Security Officer to join our team and help maintain a safe shopping environment. You will monitor activity, deter theft, respond to alarms, and provide professional customer service while enforcing store policies.

This part-time, weekend position offers a stable schedule (Saturday and Sunday 8am–4pm), a supportive team, and benefits such as medical, life, and disability coverage.

Responsibilities

• Monitor store activity to deter theft and maintain safety.
• Observe customer and employee behavior for suspicious activity and report concerns.
• Respond to exit door alarms and verify receipts when alarms activate.
• Conduct routine patrols throughout the store and surrounding areas.
• Provide visible security presence to prevent shoplifting and policy violations.
• Document incidents and security concerns in written reports.
• Work closely with store management and staff to address safety issues.
• Provide professional customer service while enforcing store policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
